I had the privilege of working and living in Tokyo Japan for over 10 years. During that time I also traveled to Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, China and Malaysia. My favorite subjects for photography are the contrast of old and new, urban night views and festivals.

Tokyo is a wonderfully chaotic place, with a total lack of urban planning and a tendency to place all things infrastructure out in the open. This, combined with a population of over 12 million in a space smaller than urban Los Angeles make for endless subject matter.

All of the photos on this site were originally shot in 35 mm slide film and digitized with a high quality Nikon film scanner. If you wish to purchase a photo, contact me and I'll be happy to crop the photo for you. Of course prints will not have the (C) statement on the bottom. I will also be offering medium resolution digital downloads in the near future.
